took part in the first Russian-Turkish war. Heavily wounded, he was retired
with the rank of Major-General. Married to Praskovia Vasil’evna Skvortsova
(b (*) 2nd May 1755 † 14th October 1800), they had two daughters, Countess
Praskovia Nikolaevna (Circa 1780 † 14th July/Juny 1832), who married (Tsypovka
Circa
1799) Major-General Prince Andrei Mikhailovich Obolenskii (Glukhovo [Moscow]
19th Jan 1765 † Moscow 4th Aug 1830), and Countess Varvara Nikolaevna
(b. 1777, † 25th Feb 1833)., who married State Councillor Mikhail
Petrovich Rimskii-Korsakov (b
Tikhvin-Novgorod 1791 , † 3rd Aug, 1836) (*).

small population very near Simbirsk (Ñèìáèðñê) now Ulyanovsk (Óëüÿíîâñê)
