Plaque with signatures of many trainees at 'Fundación Jimenez Díaz' Hospital. A number of them later became Heads of Nephrology in different hospitals.

Professor Hernando has a number of valuable collections and pieces of furniture. This library belonged to the Duke of Rivas, the well known romantic poet. The library was constructed out of mahogany and olive wood with bronze decorations.

This venetian glass was from the Tsar collection. Dámaso Gutierrez-Arrese bought it as a present to Professor's Hernando mother in the Russian streets. He was with Serrano Suñer (General Franco's brother in law) in Russia as a member of the so called "Blue Division"
