The contest has taken place for the third year in Santa Ponsa (Mallorca, Spain). Present personalities included HRH Birgitta Ingeborg Alice Princess of Sweden, H.E. Dr. J. Marco, Count Marcov, Mr. Vladimir Salnikov four times Olympic champion in swimming, Katiana Malenchenko, wife of the Cosmonaut (that married during his travel in the space), Nonna Puskariova (Kotchektkova) world champion in fin-swimming and other. The authorities arrived from Russia included the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Duma H.E. Aleksandra M. Burataeva, Dr. Valery Nikiforov, President of the St. Petersburg Council for Tourism, Mr. Galina Kroshkiva Vicepresident of the Russian Golf Association, President of Sobin-Bank Mr. Kiril Jenko, etc. President of Golf Club Mr. Nigorra helped by the Director Mr. José Mª Gómez and Mrs. Olga Bestard (neé Tyszkiewicz , also having among her ancestors the noble Polish and Russians Naryshkin and Obolensky), received the delegation as well as the local authorities headed by the Balearic President Delegate Mr. Eduardo Gamero and the Palma de Mallorca Deputy Major Mrs. Francisca Bennassar.
